ELLA MAE MCKNIGHT BARRINGER FLORENCE, SC Ella Mae McKnight Barringer, 51, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013. Ms. Barringer was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of Elizabeth Watts Reed and the late John K. McKnight.She was a former realtor with Remax in Charlotte, NC.Ms. Barringer was a member of Florence Baptist Temple and loved drawing. She was preceded in death by her father, John K. McKnight, and her step-father, Edward Reed. Surviving are her mother, Elizabeth W. Reed, of Florence;a brother, Mike (Barbara) Spears, of Florence;a sister, Sherri Byrd Reed, of Joplin, MO; a nephew, Corey Spears, of Los Angeles, CA; and a niece, Whitney (Herbie) Wilkins, of Hilton Head, SC. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013, at the Florence Baptist Temple Chapel. The family is being assisted by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the Florence Baptist Temple Chapel and other times at the residence of Mike and Barbara Spears.
