Elizabeth Yvonne Taylor

Elizabeth Yvonne Taylor, Jan. 21, 1932 – Jun. 9, 2017, was born in Mt Airy, Surry Co, NC. She is preceded in death by parents William Vestal Hiatt and Cora Blanche Hiatt, and by her husband Freeman Shelton Taylor. She is survived by brothers: Donald Willard Hiatt (Betty), Vestal Agee Hiatt (Wilma), sisters Carol Jean Hiatt (wife of Sonny Coe) and Phoebe Elaine Hiatt, (wife of David Scott Hullinger), by children Kim Freeman Taylor (Kathy), Terri Yvonne Taylor, Del Craig Taylor, and Eric Carl Taylor (Tara), as well as by grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Taylor would want to be remembered for her devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ, to her church and to her family. Along with her husband “Bib” she worked tirelessly in the service of these concerns and remained faithful to the end. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
