Elizabeth "Lizzie" Turner Prosser

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Turner Prosser Florence, SC Elizabeth "Lizzie" Turner Prosser, 73 of Effingham, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 in a local hospital after an illness. Mrs. Prosser was born in Florence Co., a daughter of the late Lester Pearce and Meta Virginia Purvis Turner.She was a member of Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Garry Prosser, and a brother, Joseph Albert Turner. Surviving are three daughters, Rebecca (Jay) Lawrimore of Florence, Elaine (Jay) Stone and Miriam (Stephen) Carter both of Effingham; five grandchildren, Sydney Lawrimore, Emily Lawrimore, Megan Stone, Russell Stone, and Abigail Carter; a sister-in-law, Mary Nell Munn Turner of Effingham; a special nephew, Joe Turner and number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church.Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church, 7001 Friendfield Road, Effingham, SC 29541. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
