Elizabeth "Betty" Campbell Fowler

Elizabeth “Betty” Campbell Fowler, 72, of Florence, passed away in her home after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Ms. Fowler was born in Florence, a daughter of the late John Carroll Campbell and Margaret Rogers Campbell.She was a medical administrative assistant at Veterans Administrative Medical Center for approximately thirty years.She was a member of Grace Methodist Church in Charleston.Ms. Fowler was a member of Beta Sigmi Phi, Eastern Star and American Legion. Surviving are her sons, Frederick H. Fowler, Jr. of Charleston and John Quinn (Cindy) Fowler of Goose Creek; grandchildren, John Q. Fowler, Jr. and Chelsea M. Fowler; and her twin sister, Margaret “Peggy” C. Campbell. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Mount Hope Mausoleum directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Family will receive friends from 2:00 pm – 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Mount Hope Mausoleum.
