Service for Eleanor W. Springs will be on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bible Temple, Coward, SC.Entombment will be in Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in a private ceremony.Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home is in charge of the services. Mrs. Springs, 84, died on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, after an extended illness. Born in Sumter, SC, she was the daughter of the late Della Lynch Wells and Charles Earl Wells.She was a resident of Florence and Florence County since early childhood and was employed by Wentworth Mfg., as a seamstress.She was a member of First Assembly of God, Florence and Bible Temple, Coward. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents,were her husband, Muldrow Springs; two sons, Charles Wayne and Baby Boy Springs; a brother, Clarence Ladson Wells and four sisters, Katherine Lynch (Cecil), Bessie Louise Wells, Mary Alice Wise (Harry W.) and Earlene Wise (Harry A.). She is survived by her son, Earl (Ann) Springs, Sumter, SC; Richard Springs (Mary Brett), Grandson, Arlington,VA; Amy Everhard (Kirk), Granddaughter, Niceville, FL; four Great Grands, Skyler and Ariana Everhard and Jayde and Parker Springs.Mrs. Springs had a very special cousin, Mrs. Susan McCrea, Kingstree and ten nieces and eight nephews she loved as her own. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the sanctuary at Bible Temple. Memorials may be made to the Fisher Center For Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, 110 East 42nd Street, 16th Floor, New York, NY10017.
