Edgar Allen Pate

Edgar Allen Pate, 65, of Timmonsville, SC, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at his home. Mr. Pate was born a son of the late Junie Mae Poston Pate Evans and Marvin Pate. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a retired millwright. He is survived by his sons, Jason Keith Pate (Julie) of Florence, SC and Justin Andrew Pate of Asheville, NC; daughter, Amber Rene Nelson of Hendersonville, NC; grandchildren, Amelia Grace Chernous, Dalton Pate, Joshua Pate, Sarah Pate, Angel Porter, and Jessica Lee; great-grandchild, Addie Lee; and sisters, Nancy Ford and Brenda Carter, both of Florence, and Linda Brewer of Ruby, SC. Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, a private graveside service will be held at Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
