Earline Howard Faulk

Earline Howard Faulk, age 81, of New Bern, lived a beautiful, dignified life. A discerning woman of exquisite taste, she provided comfort and solace while asking little in return. She loved her children, Lori Lynn Faulk (August 21, 2021) who preceded her in death and Robert DeLloyd Faulk, Jr. She taught her children integrity, loyalty, and compassion, imbuing them with the confidence necessary to pursue life with pervasive, contagious fervor. She was loved and admired by all the people that knew her. Earline was born in Florence, SC to Florence and Samuel Howard. Beloved sister to Laverne Howard, Sammy James Howard, Leona Howard, Betty Squires, Dorothy Woodard, Elma Stidham, and Ruby Stidham who all preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Robert DeLloyd Faulk, Jr (fiancé, Jo Ann); her grandson, Jacob Alan Faulk and his wife, Alexis; and her brother, Earl Howard. She worked 23 years with Wachovia/Wells Fargo. She was a teller and worked up to lead teller. Everyone loved her and the customers enjoyed talking to her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Earline's honor to Cardinal Hospice, 3884 Henderson Drive, Jacksonville, NC 28546. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Cotten Funeral Home, 2201 Neuse Blvd., New Bern, NC 28560. Earline will have a visitation at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home in Florence, South Carolina from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Following the visitation, Earline will have a service at Mount Hope Cemetery in Florence, South Carolina at 2:00 pm, where she will be laid to rest.
