EARL FRANKLIN BLACKMON Florence, SC Earl Franklin Blackmon, 53, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. He was born in Florence, a son of the late Bennie Franklin Blackmon and Earline Soles Blackmon. He was a self-employed landscaper.He enjoyed time with his family, as well as cooking, boat racing and fishing. He is survived by step-son Shawn Christopher Perkins of Darlington, 5 daughters; Alexis Hutchinson, Kimberly M. Blackmon, both of Darlington; Winter V. Blackmon, Summer E. Blackmon, Autumn N. Blackmon, all of Effingham; 3 brothers, Gerald Ray Blackmon, of Effingham, Terry Allen (Pam) Blackmon of Hartsville, Travis Neil Blackmon of Florence; 2 sisters; Cheryl Blackmon of Effingham and Shirley (“Buddy”) Barr of Timmonsville.Also 6 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 11, 2015 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.Family will also receive friends and family at other times at the home of a sister, Cheryl Blackmon, at 312 Rico Drive, Florence, SC29505.
