Dylan Codie Meggs, 22, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at a local hospital. Dylan was born in Florence, SC, a son of Richie Meggs and Sharon Brown Meggs.He was a fun loving boy who loved the outdoors.Dylan loved surrounding himself with his family and friends.His smile and laughter were contagious.Dylan was loved by anyone who crossed his path. Dylan is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carolyn Floyd and John L. Meggs. In addition to his parents, Richie Meggs and Sharon Meggs, he is survived by his sister, Morgan Meggs; his brother and sister-in-law, Austin Meggs and Jordan Wiggins Meggs; his maternal grandparents, Jimmy R. Brown and Martha M. Brown, all from Florence and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2014, at the First Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
