DOVE EVELYN TURNER FLOWERS PAMPLICO, SC Dove Evelyn Turner Flowers, 93, of Pamplico, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mrs. Flowers was born in Pamplico, SC a daughter of the late Walker Leroy Turner and Emma Jane Kennedy Turner.She was a graduate of Pamplico High School where she was a member of the Beta Club and was a member of Mt. Elon Free Will Baptist Church.She had been a farmer and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. “Scott” Flowers; brothers, Otis Turner and Allen Turner and sisters, Ruby T. Wagner, Annie T. Johnson and Mae T. Porter. Surviving are her sons, Gerald Bruce “Jerry” Flowers, Sr., Herbert Raymond “Ray” (Carolyn) Flowers, Richard Arnold (Vernelle) Flowers and Michael Larue “Mike” (Gail) Flowers, all of Pamplico; grandsons, Gerald Flowers, Jr., Jody Flowers, Chris Flowers, Shon Flowers, Richie Flowers and Jason Flowers; granddaughters, Layne Flowers Burleson, Tracy Flowers Poston, Susan Flowers Lyons and Pamela Flowers Hutchinson; step-grandchildren, F.L. Smith, Wendell Smith, Chrystal Truman, Barry Smith and Sam Smith; great-grandchildren, Scott Flowers, Christina Flowers, Cassidy Flowers, Jessica Poston, Brady Burleson, Jenna Grace Flowers, Josh Hutchinson, Allison Hutchinson, Angel Flowers and Rex Allen Flowers; step-great-grandchildren, Jessica Leviner and Jarrett Leviner; great-great-grandchild, Bentley Cruise Poston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Mt. Elon Free Will Baptist Church in Pamplico.Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
