Douglas Jerome Cameron

FLORENCE, SC Douglas Jerome Cameron, Jr., 72, of Timmonsville, SC passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. Douglas was born December 20, 1946 in Brunswick County, NC a son of the late Charles Jack Cameron, Sr. and Ruby Eloise Haulk-Cameron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruby Cameron; a nephew, Christopher Blake Cameron; and a niece, Fredia Louise “Wheezy” Cameron. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy P. Cameron; four sons, Douglas Jerome Cameron, Jr., Matthew (Amanda) Cameron, John (Christina) Cameron and Johnny The Kid Cameron; a step-daughter, Gail Parsons; three brothers, Charles Blake Cameron, John Jacob Cameron and J.R. Cameron; two sisters, Josephine Adkins and Alma Mae Isgett; a special nephew, Charles (Peggy) Cameron; a sister-in-law, Fredia;five grandchildren, James, Kimberly (Dean Goodman), Tony, Rhianna and J.D.; and three great-grandchildren, Kendal, Kaylee and Karlee. A family gathering will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at the Cameron Home – 3813 Oliver Rd. Lot 1, Timmonsville, SC 29161.
