Dorothy "Maxine" Watford

Dorothy “Maxine” Watford, 91, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Mrs. Watford was born in Live Oak, FL a daughter of the late Mack McCutcheon and Ruth Kennedy McCutcheon.She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for over 59 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Heyward Watford; and sons, John Wayne Watford and Heyward Willis Watford, Jr. Surviving are her sons, Ray Watford of Myrtle Beach and Ron (Diane) Watford of Columbia, SC; daughters, Susan Lynch of Florence and Heidi Cone of Ladson, SC; a number of grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 306 Cherokee Road, Florence, SC 29501. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.The family will receive friends immediately after the service at the cemetery.
