Dorothy Mae Keefe

Dorothy Mae Isgett Keefe, 98, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Mrs. Keefe was born in Marion County, SC, a daughter of the late Muldrow Chapman Isgett and Doreatha Godbold Isgett.She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and a faithful church worker.She was a very godly woman and enjoyed sewing and gardening.Mrs. Keefe was a loving mother and Nana. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Guy Keefe; brothers, Walter Isgett and M. C. Isgett, Jr.; and sisters, Frances Yopp and Agatha Sawicki. Mrs. Keefe is survived by her son, Mac (Janet Sue) Keefe of Florence; daughter, Gloria (Johnny) KeefeBaggett of Florence; five grandchildren, Stephanie Baggett Marshall, Jennifer Sue Keefe, Mitzi Baggett Horton, Philip (Megan) Keefe and Jonnette (Scot) Baggett Waggoner; and nine great-grandchildren, Carey Horton, Cole Horton, Thomas Marshall, Alex Marshall, Ryley Keefe, Gralin Keefe, Brody Keefe, Henslee Keefe and Hadlee Keefe. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Unity Baptist Church.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
