DOROTHY “DOTTIE” JEAN MCGEE TIMMONVSILLE, SC Dorothy “Dottie” Jean McGee, 79, of Timmonsville, SC, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. Mrs. McGee was born in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late C. E. Doyle and Mabel Fox Doyle. She was an operations manager and teller in the banking industry, having worked at C & S Bank and Pee Dee State Bank.She was a very accomplished artist and known for her paintings and drawings.Mrs. McGee loved music but mostly loved her family. Surviving are husband of 59 years, Ira Edward “Ike” McGee; sons, Michael McGee of Timmonsville, Tim McGee (Diane) of Florence and Mark McGee (Wendy) of Florence; her brothers, Elliott Doyle of Charleston and Trenholm Doyle of Columbia; sisters, Frances Parsons of Pensacola, FL and Sharon Royall of Columbia, and grandchildren, Eric (Cristen) McGee and Holly McGee. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Charles Michael Doyle. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, P. O.
