Dorothy Margaret Cox Chichester, of Florence, SC, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

She was the daughter of the late Ollie Cox and Nettie Sports Cox.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Chichester Jr.

She is survived by her son, Mark Roper; sister, Shelby (Shirley) Jean Cox; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild from her son Mark Roper; nieces Patricia Bryant, Nettie Marie Blom and Cheryl McLaughlin; nephews, Timothy Michael Odell, James Leroy Odell and Monty Edward Odell; 8 great nieces and 6 great nephews.
