DOROTHY ANDREWS CAUDLE Florence, SC Dorothy Andrews Caudle, 82, of Florence died early Wednesday morning, February 22, 2012 in Mt. Pleasant, SC after a brief illness. Mrs. Caudle was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Annie Hatchell Andrews and Richard Eberdine Andrews.She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the Immanuel Women's Association, and the Bellsouth Pioneer Club.Mrs. Caudle was educated in the Florence County School system and graduated from McClenaghan High School in 1947.She continued her education at Florence Business College and graduated in 1950.She retired after thirty years of service with Bellsouth as Manager of Operation Services in 1995. Mrs. Caudle is predeceased by her husband, William Ervin Caudle, Sr. and her brothers and sisters. Surviving are her son, William E. (Georgia Brown) Caudle, Jr., and her granddaughters, Catherine Caudle Parks, Rosalyn Rebecca Caudle and Madison Brown McElheney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2012 at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.Entombment will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Family will receive friends immediately following in the mausoleum chapel.
