DORIS DARLENE STEVENSON PORTER FLORENCE, SC DORIS DARLENE STEVENSON PORTER, 81, of Florence, died Friday, March 11, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Porter was born in Pasedena, CA a daughter of the late Gordan Stevenson and Doris K. Dammeyer Stevenson.She was a member of the Methodist Faith and retired from the public school system in Pheonix, AZ as a teacher. Surviving are her husband, Russell J. Porter of Florence; sisters, Carol (Bob) Weaver of Bakersfield, CA and Janet (Frank) Taylor of Warner Springs, CA; several nieces and nephews; close friends, Betty (Bob) Hawkins of Florence; friend, Edgar Nero; caregivers, Sharon Taylor, Elaine Grice, Alberta Jones, Debbie Colon and Nikki Flemmings.
