Doris Jeanette Wooldridge Bocks

Doris “Jeanette” Wooldridge Bocks, (better known as MeMaw), 84, of Pamplico, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021. Mrs. Bocks was born in Itasca, Texas, a daughter of the late Royal A. Wooldridge and Doris Martha Morgan Wooldridge.She was a retired CNA, volunteered at CHS/MUSC for a number of years, and attended Willow Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Donald J. Bocks. Surviving are her sons, Royal Dean (Joy) Bocks and Andrew (Robert) Bocks; grandchildren, Tiffany L. Bocks, Brian Dean (Ashley) Bocks, and Tyler Bocks; great-grandchildren, Hunter Bocks and Hayley Bocks; brother, Donald (Linda) Wooldridge; nieces, Wendi (Scott) Hayes and Nikki Wooldridge; cousins, Janis Ewing, Linda and Walter Degner, and Glenna Stamp. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 am Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral with the service to be held at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel.Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
