Doreen "Nikki" Vaughan Simonds Scranton, SC Doreen "Nikki" Vaughan Simonds, 52, of Scranton, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at McLeod Regional Hospital with her family by her side. Mrs. Simonds was born February 11, 1959 in Maryland to the late David A. Vaughan and Lily Mae Sadler Vaughan. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Maryland. Mrs. Simonds is preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Simonds is survived by her husband Charles E. "Charlie" Simonds of Florence; daughter, DeannaReinhartand son-in-law Kenneth Gregory Reinhartof Maryland; brothers, Kenneth Vaughan of Texas, and David Vaughan of Maryland; and a grandson, Kenny Gregory of Maryland. Graveside services will be held 3:00pm Friday at Lake City Memorial Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
