DONALD THEODORE PHILIPP FLORENCE, SC DONALD THEODORE PHILIPP, 81, of Florence, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at a local healthcare facility. Mr. Philipp was born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Frederick and Ruth Schnider Philipp.He was a Sunday School Teacher for over fifty years and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and a step-son, Shane Fuleihan. Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Jan Harris Philipp of the home; children, Keith (June) Philipp of Crystal City, MD, Donna Beth (Jimmy) Johnson of Richmond, VA, Bruce Philipp of Knoxville, TN, Cheri (Scott) Cooke, VA;a step-son, Mark (Jordan) Fuleihan of Florence, SC;a sister, Doris Busch of Florida; grandchildren andgreat-grandchildren;and special friends, Ron Britt and Keith Thompson. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2930 Masters Way, Darlington, SC29532. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, March 21, 2011 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
