Donald Kimball Moore, Sr.

Donald Kimball Moore Sr., of Florence, SC, passed away July 8, 2025.

He was the son of the late Ernest Guy Moore Jr. and Cora Lynn Baker Moore.

Donald served as the Storeroom Lead Operator at WestRock for 44 years before retiring in 2019. He was a dedicated member of Liberty Chapel Church and had a passion for gardening, hunting, and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Guy Moore III, William Moore, Charles Moore, and Carl Moore.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis William Moore; son, Donald K. (Vicki) Moore Jr.; daughter, Emily Moore (Woody) Myers; grandchildren, Meagan (Chris) Mckenzie, Macy (Levi) Cook, Taylor (Ryan) Foxworth, Westley (Anna) Hall, Dalton (Taylor) Hall; great grandchildren, Grace McKenzie, Parker Cook, Elizabeth Foxworth, and Jack Hall; brothers, Larry (Stephanie) Moore and Stoney (Maggie) Moore; sister, Carolyn M. (Keith) Ard.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Liberty Chapel Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after services in the fellowship hall.
