DONALD “DAVID” HEAD, JR. Florence, SC Donald “David” Head, Jr., 68, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Carolinas Hospital System after an illness. Mr. Head was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Donald David Head, Sr. and Irene Hopkins Head.He was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church, a carpenter, avid outdoorsman and family man. Surviving are his wife, Betty Bryant Head of Florence; son, D.J. Head of Florence; brother, Danny (Emie) Head of the Philippines; granddaughter, Bryleigh Phillips and sister-in-law, Virginia Hilton of Dillon. Memorials may be made to Peace Free Will Baptist Church, 897 Third Loop Road, Florence, SC29505. The family will receive friends from 2 - 3 pm Friday prior to the service at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, August 28, 2015in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.
