Dixie Evans Muldrow Calder Florence, SC Dixie Evans Muldrow Calder, 77, of Florence, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012. Ms. Calder was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Joseph Sidney and Ina Hanna Evans. Prior to the 1970's, Ms. Calder operated The Coastal Motel then went on to open Dixie's Mobile Home Park until the 1990's. Ms. Calder also operated the Olde Junk Shop at the Florence Flea Market. Ms. Calder was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Sidney Hugh Muldrow; and 13 siblings. Ms. Calder is survived by 3 daughters, Cheryl M. (Eric) Mullis of Concord, NC, Yvette (Tom) Elvington of Florence, and Cherry V. (Brian) Driggers, of Lake City; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
