DEVAN LEGETTE POSTON Florence, SC Devan Legette Poston, 38, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, July 06, 2013. Mr. Poston was born in Florence, SC and raised in Pamplico by his grandparents, Loyal and Nora Poston.Mr. Poston was employed with Ward’s Landscaping and attended Pamplico Pentecostal Holiness Church.He loved playing billiards. He is predeceased by his step-father, Thomas “Tommy” Chavis. Surviving are his mother, Vanessa “Misty” Poston Chavis; sister, Melissa Chavis of SC; brother, Jeffrey Tindall of Florence and his grandparents, Loyal and Nora Poston of Pamplico and Mary Barrow of Florence. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4 – 5 PM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home to assist the family.
