Derrick Alan Thompson

Derrick Alan Thompson, 39, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. Mr. Thompson was the son of Daisy Haines Thompson and the late Robert Otto Thompson.He had worked at BMW in Greer.Mr. Thompson loved Clemson football and working out at the gym. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Peris Allen Thompson (Crystal) and Riley Levi Thompson; daughter, Emory Layla Thompson; grandchild, Blaine Otto Thompson; Aunt Linda Marsh; and extended family. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 24, 2020, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.There will be a private interment at Florence Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
