Dennis Timothy "Tim" Shanahan

Dennis Timothy “Tim” Shanahan, 68, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

Tim Shanahan was born in Cincinnati, OH, to Joyce Ann Conley Shanahan and Dennis Paul Shanahan. He was a marksman, loved the outdoors, cooking, reading but mostly loved his family.

Tim Shanahan is survived by one brother, Michael Patrick (Cathy) Shanahan, of Hillsboro, OH; sisters, Linda Marie McNamara, of Florence, SC, Theresa Shanahan Taylor, of Cincinnati, OH, and Julia Shanahan (Danny) Wyrick, of Lexington, SC; daughters, Amy Lynn Malakar, OH, and Misty Marie (Timothy) Kemmerlin, of Florence, SC; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He considered John and Robert Clark as his brothers from another mother.

Tim has chosen not to have a funeral. There will be a “Celebration of Life” held in the early spring. All will be notified of the date when plans are completed.
