Debra Marie Smith

Debra Marie Smith, 63, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. Mrs. Smith was born in Georgetown County, SC, a daughter of the late Dudley Clifton Sessions and Leila Mae Huggins Sessions. She was a homemaker and a member of South Florence Baptist Church where she enjoyed Bible Study.She also enjoyed quilt making, doing crafts and especially reading. Mrs. Smith was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are her husband, Oliver Smith; daughters, Misty Smith and Terri Gaskins, both of Effingham; grandchildren, Ricky (Amber) Lee, Kymbol Lee, Kelci (George) Lee, Alex (Morgan) Lee, Devon (Jacob) Gaskins and Nickolas Gaskins; great-grandchildren, Noah and Lily Harrison and Rayne Lee; sisters, Pam Jones of Pamplico and Sharon Jones of Florence, and brothers, Horace Sessions of Florence and Col. David Sessions, US Air Force, retired, of Sumter. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at South Florence Baptist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
