Debra Gail Hill

Debra Gail Hill, 70, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Hill was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Elizabeth Price Rogers and Johnny Rogers, Sr.She was a member of Elim Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Derrick Heath Exum, Cory Hill and Heather (Juan) Hill Mendoza, all of Effingham; grandchildren, Tyler Exum, Crystal Winstead, Toni Freeman and Hunter Isgett; great-grandchildren, Bella Exum, Vivian Winstead, Jack Winstead, Chloe Freeman and Aria Freeman; brothers, Keith Rogers of Costa Rica; sisters, Gladys Hodges of Greenville, NC, Norma Rouse of Marion, Judy Hampton of Conway, Syble (Norm) Kennedy of Granite Fall, NC and Martha (Jerry) Blaton of Florence and special friend, Joy McDaniel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack “Jackie” Yancy Hill; and brothers, Johnny “Jr.” Rogers, Jr., Micky Rogers and Paul Rogers.
