Debra Ann Barnett

Debra Ann Barnett, 67, of Florence, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026.

Born on June 23, 1959, in Columbus, Georgia, Debra spent most of her life in Columbia, South Carolina, where she built a life defined by hard work, resilience, and unwavering love for her family.

Throughout her career, Debra worked in the steel industry as a purchasing manager. She was known for her strong work ethic, determination, and ability to overcome life’s challenges with grace and perseverance. One of her greatest accomplishments was raising her only daughter as a single mother, a role she embraced with incredible strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love.

Debra’s greatest joy was her family. She especially treasured every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren, Bryson, Emily, and Brody, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life. She loved them deeply and was endlessly proud of them. She is survived by her loving daughter, Lyndsay Osbourne, and son-in-law, Bradley Osbourne, along with her cherished grandchildren.

Raised in the Southern Baptist faith, Debra carried with her a spirit of kindness, compassion, and hope throughout her life. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcome and valued. Her radiant smile, warm heart, and infectious personality could light up any room she entered, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Debra will be remembered as a woman of extraordinary strength, fierce love, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the love she shared so freely, and the memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” — 2 Timothy 4:7–8

The family will hold a private celebration of Debra’s life. They ask that those who knew and loved her honor her memory by cherishing time with their own families and sharing the kindness and love that she so naturally gave to others.

Though she is no longer with us, Debra’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her, and her memory will be treasured always.
