Debra Powell Bailey

Debra Powell Bailey, 76, of Florence, SC, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Debra was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of the late Vera Gray and John Dexter Howard. She retired from Mcleod after 28 years and loved crocheting. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husbands, Alvin “Bo” Powell and Kenneth Bailey, and sister, Annette Moore. Surviving are son, Alvin (Audrey) Powell; daughter, Traci (Terry) Singletary; grandchildren, Taylor (Ernest) Daniels, Owen Powell, Ashleigh (Terrance) Wilson, and Emily Granger; great-grandchildren, Andee Reese Daniels, Emerson Blaine Daniels, Eliza Reid Daniels, Marleigh Wilson, Hendrix Wilson, and Monroe Wilson; and sister, Johnnie Jarvis. Memorial may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 500 Pamplico Highway, Florence, SC 29505. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
