DEANNA SUE EISIMINGER FLORENCE, S.C. DEANNA SUE EISIMINGER, 74, of Florence, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 in a Florence hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Eisiminger was born in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of the late CPL Kenneth Edison and Lena Pearl Jones Warren.She was an Army Daughter, Niece, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Mother-in-law. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Mitchellville, Maryland and was a homemaker.Mrs. Eisiminger loved the Tuesday bridge club at the Florence Rec Center and loved her gardens and her dachshunds. She received a liver transplant nearly fifteen years to the day of her passing.The average liver transplant recipient survives ten years.We were blessed to have an extra fifteen years because of an unselfish family that made the choice to donate during their time of grief.Each day eighteen people die waiting for an organ.Don't take your organs to heaven; God knows we need them here. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, COL Tom Eisiminger, Sr. of Florence; Children, COL Tommy and CPT Becky Eisiminger, Jr. of Scottsdale, AZ, Kenny Eisiminger of Florence, CPT Bob Eisiminger of Annapolis, MD and Lynne Anne Eisiminger of Dallas, TX.; and her Grandchildren, Katie Eisiminger of Portland, OR and Cadet Thomas Eisiminger III, US Military Academy at West Point. A Memorial service will be held at 6:30 P.M. Saturday, March 24, 2012 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. Her ashes will be interred at a later date in Arlington National cemetery. In honor of her love for dogs and country, memorial contributions may be made to Hero Dogs, P.O.
