Deanna Marie Hancock

Deanna Marie Prosser Hancock, 53, of Coward, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer. Mrs. Hancock was born in Florence County, SC, a daughter of Cecil H. Prosser and Kathy Yager Prosser.She was a member of Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church and was a big supporter of the South Lynches Fire Department.Mrs. Hancock was employed by Webster Rogers. Surviving are her husband, Wayne Hancock; her children, Curt Hancock of Coward, Chad Hancock of Lake City and Haley Hancock of Coward; her father and step-mother, Cecil H. and Cathy Prosser of Coward; her mother, Kathy Yager Prosser of Bremerton, Washington; and her sisters, Debbie (Michael) Sullivan of Lake City and Donna (Bill) Von Essen of Port Orchard, Washington. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church.Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
