David C. Joyner, 68, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Mr. Joyner was born a son of the late Odis Bunyan Joyner and Nannie Lenora Vick Joyner.He was retired from Agri South as a sales associate after twenty three and half years of employment. He was an honorary member of the Shrine, a member of the Omar Daredevils and a member of Hampton Masonic Lodge #204. He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth (John III) Fisher and Amanda Joyner, both of Florence; son, David “Chris” (Sandy) Joyner of Lancaster, CA; grandchildren, Madison Matthews, Dawson Matthews, Brandon Christopher Joyner and Alyssa Marie Joyner; and sisters, Carol (Ken) Butler of Texas, Louise Hipshire (Eric Havens) of Tampa, FL and Beverly (Lonnie) Linton of Panama City, FL. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Brenda Worthy Joyner. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
