David Dewitt Hopper

DAVID DEWITT HOPPER FLORENCE, SC David DeWitt Hopper, 72, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at a local healthcare facility. Mr. Hopper was born in Youngstown, OH, a son of the late DeWitt C. Hopper and Margaret Walsh Hopper.He was a veteran of the US Army and a retired manager in the retail industry.Mr. Hopper was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Youngstown State University and attended St. Anthony Catholic Church. Surviving are his son, Sean (Kim) Hopper of Austin, TX; his granddaughter, Nina Belle Hopper of Austin, TX; and his sisters, Nancy (Gerald) Burns and Sally (Jeff) Kenney, both of Florence, SC. A memorial mass service at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 16, 2013, at St. Anthony Catholic Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will be at a later date in the Florence National Cemetery.
