David Lee Courtney, Sr., 68, of Florence passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Mr. Courtney was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Ralph Henry Courtney and Hattie Mae Strickland Courtney.He was a US Army veteran and a boat builder. Surviving are his wife, Ruth “Ruthy” Montoya Courtney; son, David (Zelena) Courtney, Jr. of Florence; grandchildren, Alex Courtney and Alexis Courtney, and brother, Hal Courtney of Florence. Burial will take place at Florence Memorial Gardens.
