David Carrigan, Sr.

David "Pops" Earl Carrigan, Sr. Florence, South Carolina David "Pops" Earl Carrigan, Sr., 52, of Florence passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at a Florence hospital after an illness. Mr. Carrigan was born in Columbia, SC, a son of the late Richard Marvin and Elizabeth Miller Carrigan, Sr. He was the owner/operator of Quality Tire Warehouse in Florence. He is preceded in death by his parents; and by his brother, Danny Carrigan. Mr. Carrigan is survived by his wife of 11 years, Teresa Lupo Carrigan; 4 children, Tony L. Carrigan, Jr., David E. Carrigan, Jr., Brandon M. Carrigan, and a special daughter, Taylor Nicole Watson, all of Florence; brothers, Tony L. Carrigan, Sr., and Richard Carrigan, Jr., both of Florence; and by Charlie Knotts, who was like a son in "Pops" heart. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Florence Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
