Danny Wayne Mcelveen

Danny Wayne McElveen, 66, of Florence, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019. Mr. McElveen was born in Sumter, SC a son of the late Robert Franklin McElveen, Jr. and Irene Powell McElveen.He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and by his sister-in-law, Marilyn McElveen. Surviving are his mother, Irene of Florence; brothers, Robert F. (Diana) McElveen, III and Steve McElveen; sister, Pamela (Patrick) Fagan; nieces and nephews, Amy (Ricky) Dew, Melia (Justin) Evans, Keely Fagan, Connor Fagan, and Ian Fagan; great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson Dew, Presley Dew, Ashlyn Evans, and Jordy Evans. Memorials may be made to the Shiloh Youth Programs, 895 Pleasant Grove Road, Lynchburg, SC 29080. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.Burial will take place in Florence Memorial Gardens after the service.
