Danny Wayne Cox

Danny Wayne Cox, 60, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Mr. Cox was born in Mullins, SC a son of the late Douglas Wayne Cox and Mary Elizabeth Church Cox.His greatest pleasure was spending time with his family, and he enjoyed classic rock, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a granddaughter, Ella Powell. Surviving are his wife, Mary Renee Cox of Florence; sons, Kendell W. Cox of Florence and Christopher W. Cox of Darlington; daughters, Lannah C. Cox of Florence and Rebekah H. (Robert) Powell of Darlington; grandson, Evan Cox of Florence; granddaughters, Avery Powell of Darlington and Lyrik Cox of Florida; sister, Diane Lee. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Foundation, www.alz.org. A private memorial service was held at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
