Daniel David Rogers

Daniel David Rogers, Jr, 65, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Mr. Rogers was born in Florence, a son of the late Daniel David Rogers, Sr. and Dot Oliver Rogers. He was a veteran of the US Marines.He retired from CSX after 20+ years and also retired from RailServe as a site manager. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiancé, Jean Webb; children, Daniel David Rogers, III (Faith)of Florence and Justin Wylie Rogers of Greenville, SC; step-daughter, Michele Evors; grandchildren, Victoria Grace Rogers and Abigail Faith Rogers; siblings, Delaine Martin, Jackie Murphy, Doug Rogers (Debra), Randy Rogers (Rosey) and Becky Rogers, all of Florence. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rachel Rogers; niece, Kelsey Rogers; nephews, Ryan Joyner and Eddie “Hot Shot” James. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 28, 2015 at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
