Florence

Daniel Learin Beasley, 31, of Florence, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025.

Born in Florence to Randy Learin Beasley and Georgia Creel Beasley, Daniel was a bright, kind, and driven individual who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. From the very beginning, his parents were blessed with his gentle spirit and kind heart. A 2012 graduate of Wilson High School, he excelled academically as part of the IB program and was honored to attend Boys State. Daniel went on to earn his political science degree from the College of Charleston in 2016, followed by his law degree from the Charleston School of Law in 2018. He proudly passed the Bar Exam in April 2019 and began serving his community as an attorney.

Daniel began his legal career at Motley Rice Law Firm, where he contributed to research in class-action lawsuits. He later returned home to Florence to work with SC Legal Services, where he found deep fulfillment in helping those in need. Daniel’s work truly reflected who he was—driven by a deep sense of fairness and a desire to help those who needed it most.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Daniel was a man of many talents and passions. He found joy in the art of baking and cooking, was a skilled knitter, and a lifelong learner fluent in both German and Mandarin. He loved to travel and experience new cultures—especially on trips shared with his family—and was also an avid reader. Daniel will be remembered most for his brilliant mind, gentle humor, and his big, kind heart.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Florence “Peggy” Creel, and his paternal grandparents, George Beasley and Barbara King.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Randy and Georgia Beasley; his sister, Elizabeth McLeod Beasley; and his beloved cat, Lulu. He is also survived by a large and loving extended family, including aunts Sarah Booker (his second mama), Geneva (Allen) Miller, Janice (Junior) Wilkes, and Audrey (Jamie) Elliott; uncles Joe Beasley and George Beasley; and many cousins—Ernie, Jennifer (Terry), Crystal, Casey, Kelly, Jonathan, Rachel, and George—each of whom will forever cherish his memory.

A memorial service celebrating Daniel’s life will be held at a later date.
