Cynthia Flowers Isgett Barnhill Florence, SC Cynthia Flowers Isgett Barnhill, 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 12, 2014 in the McLeod Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Barnhill was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Lacy Lacoste Flowers and Sallie Pearl Streett Flowers. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed genealogy in her spare time and retired from nursing having enjoyed working with the elderly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurie Edward Isgett; son, Laurie Ronald Isgett;brothers, William Lacy Flowers, Foster Fred Flowers and Ashley Sherrill Flowers; sisters, Willadean Flowers Isgett, Joan Flowers Sandifer and Olga Flowers Sauls. Surviving are a son, Bernard Edward (Martha) Isgett of Durham, NC; daughters, Lacie Laurene (Larry) Odom of Sandy, Utah and Sherryll Lee Isgett (Dana) Anderson of Lakewood, WA; daughter-in-law, Mearl Isgett of Hilton Head; brother, Walter Flowers of Kansas; sister, Tina Taylor Illar of Florence; 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to the McLeod Hospice House, PO Box 100551, Florence, SC29502, www.mcleodfoundation.org. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
