Curtis Lee Martin

Curtis Martin, 79, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. Mr. Martin was born a son of the late Quincy Delaware and Henrietta G. Martin.He was a steel fabricator, having worked with Steel Fab Inc.He enjoyed serving his church and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughters, Cindy West and Melissa Coleman, brother, Ronnie Martin, and sisters, Francis Suhar and Margie Robinson. He is survived by Dianne O’Neal-Martin of Florence, SC; son, Curtis “Lee” Martin, Jr. (Misty) of Florence, SC; daughters, Lucy Ayers (Mark) of Florence, Crystal Hudson (Ty) of Florence, Dorothy Colee of Hastings, FL and step-daughter, Cindy McElveen (Robert) of Lamar, SC; granddaughters, Ashlee Nance, Melissa Martin, and Brittany Eddy; grandsons, Johnathan Gilbert and Kyle Coleman; step-grandson, Logan Smith; a number of great-grandchildren; and sisters, June Adams of St. Augustine, FL, Barbara Cowart of Orange Park, FL and Toni Robinson of Jupiter, FL. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 9, 2020, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, social distancing will be observed.
