Crawford "Ce" Emanuel Hutchinson

Crawford Emanuel “C. E.” Hutchinson, 71, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, whom he loved and faithfully served, on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at his home. He was born August 3, 1945 in Florence, SC, a son of the late Hector and Clara McGee Hutchinson, Sr. Mr. Hutchinson was a US Marine veteran and retired operations manager of Lee Equipment. He was a member of Amanda Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a very close friend of his pastor, Nelson Alexander. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Linda Kay Allen Hutchinson; sons, Crawford E. Hutchinson, Jr., Michael A. Hutchinson of Tennessee, John W. Hutchinson of Florence, and David C. (Rochelle) Hutchinson; a step daughter, Vanessa Dotson of Maryland; a brother, Hector (Kaye) Hutchinson, Jr. of Florence; sister in law, Sylvia Hutchinson; sisters, Betty Ward and Martha (Jim) Miller, all of Florence; 9 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a special caregiver, Stephanie Fountain; and his loving four legged companions that he adored, Toby and Lilly. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harrell. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 14 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
