Corey Daniel Floyd

Corey Daniel Floyd, 40, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Mr. Floyd was born a son of Ray Alton Floyd, Jr. and the late Rebecca Joy Hanner Floyd McGee.He was a graduate of West Florence High School in 1998 and a self-employed construction worker.Mr. Floyd was a member of Florence Baptist Temple. He is survived by his father, Ray Alton Floyd, Jr. (Deborah); brothers, Ray Alton Floyd, III (Summer) and Christopher Charles Floyd (Sarah); nephew, Bryson Floyd, and niece, Charlotte Floyd. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Florence Baptist Temple.Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Saturday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Frank Monroe Scholarship Fund, Florence Baptist Temple, 2308 South Irby St. Florence, S.C. 29505 or to the House of Hope, 1020 Darlington Street, Florence, SC29501.
