Clifford Warner Palm

CLIFFORD WARNER PALM FLORENCE, S.C. CLIFFORD WARNER PALM, 92, of Florence, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mr. Palm was born in Lowell, MA, a son of the late Henry and Daisy Scott Palm. He was a graduate of NC State University. As a member of “Our Greatest Generation”, he was a US Army veteran of WWII, and retired from the Army with the rank of Major. He went on to retire from Omintex of Charlotte, NC as Plant Manager, and also had retired from Wal-Mart. Mr. Palm was a Member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he was proud to have served as a Sunday School Teacher. Most of all, he was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Muir Palm. Surviving are his daughter, Wendy (Jim) Paul of Florence; granddaughters, Dawnsa Smith of Durham and Sarah (Neil) Penttila of DuPont, WA; grandson, Jeremy (Andrea) Paul of Johns Creek, GA; and 4 great grandchildren, Emilie Paul, Griffin Paul, Walker Paul and Liam Penttila. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Ebenezer Baptist Church. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church.
