Claudia Mae Matthews, 80, of Effingham, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017. Mrs. Matthews was born in Effingham, SC a daughter of the late Eddie Turner and Daisy Hudson Turner.She was a nursing aide at Commander Nursing Center. She loved pro wrestling, racing, the beach and concerts. Surviving are her children, Ricky Matthews, Eric Matthews and Susan Morris; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
