Clarice C. Evans

Clarice C. Evans, 98, of Florence, SC, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 24, 2025.

She was born in Marion County, SC, the daughter of the late Daniel James Caulder and Georgia Jackson Caulder. Mrs. Evans enjoyed fishing, tending to her yard, and flowers. She loved traveling to Florida with her late husband, David Evans. She was a member of Dillon Congregational Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Evans; son, Billy McGill; brothers, Jessie Caulder, McKinley Caulder, Major Caulder and Joseph Caulder; sisters, Arleen Collins, Aleen Ray and Martha Lowe; and grandsons, Kevin Elliott and Billy Ray McGill.

Surviving are her daughters, Mary Elliott and Patricia (Johnny) Jordan; stepson, Craig Evans; stepdaughters, Dale Wright, Anne Abel; grandchildren, Kim (Al) Benton, Kellie Jordan and Tab (Gail) Jordan; great-grandchildren, Brooke Moore, Tripp Moore, Bree Jordan (Skylar) Woodell, Abby Stone; and great-great grandchildren, Leni Moore, Emileigh Jordan, and Hunter McGill.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
