Clarence Dudley Myers

Clarence Dudley Myers Florence, SC Clarence Dudley Myers, 93, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 in a local health care facility after an illness. Mr. Myers was born in Florence Co., a son of the late Charles Clarence and Annie Lullie Haynes Myers.He was a member of our nation’s great generation having served in the US Army during WWII.Mr. Myers worked many years as a cookie salesman and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are his loving wife of over 70 years, Linnie Ham Myers; 3 children, Nancy (Bobby) Howle of Darlington, Clarence “C.O.” (Emily Anne) Myers of Hartsville, and Ann (Wayne) Calcutt of Conway; 4 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11-12 noon on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 700 Park Avenue, Florence, SC 29501.
