Clara Earlene Brannon

Clara Earlene Brannon, 87, a longtime resident of Columbia, SC and Florence, SC, and more recently of Fort Mill, SC passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at her home in Fort Mill after numerous health issues. Born April 30, 1925, in Coward, SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Lizzie McAlister Smith. She worked in retail most of her life retiring from AAFES in 1988. She is preceded in death by her husband Levy Brannon. Surviving is their daughter Clara Renee’ Watford and husband Russell of Fort Mill, SC; granddaughter Jessica DeIulio and husband Edward of Billerica, MA, grandson Justin Morgan of Rock Hill, SC; great grandchildren Joshua DeIulio, Jase Morgan and Madelyn DeIulio. The family will receive friends at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home in Florence SC from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 12 immediately followed by services in the chapel. Interment will be at Elmore Cemetery in Coward, SC. The family requests donations be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 993, Rock Hill, SC in lieu of flowers.
