Christeen Rogers Pigate

CHRISTEEN R. PIGATE, 88, of Scranton, passed away on Tuesday, April 04, 2017. Mrs. Pigate was born in Coward, SC a daughter of the late Foster Rogers and Leola McAllister Rogers.She was a homemaker and a member of Olanta Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Clifton Jeff Pigate; son, Jimmy Wayne Pigate; granddaughter, Shannon Allen; great-grandson, Cody Allen and sister, Ernestine Porter. Surviving are her daughter, Joyce P. Tutterow of Scranton; sister, Mary Sports of Florence; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 PM Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Olanta Baptist Church with the service to be held at 3:00 PM.Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
